XPO Logistics has won a multi-million pound three year contract with door manufacturer Door-Stop International. It will deliver products from its Nottingham site to customers across the UK.

The logistics company said it redesigned the company’s supply chain to ‘ensure the reliable execution of approximately 4,500 deliveries a month’ (over 10,000 doors).
XPO will use its network to truck goods into depots at Rochester and Gloucester. Two-man teams will complete the last mile deliveries with ‘a regionally based, customised fleet of sprinter vans.’
Dan Myers, XPO’s managing director, transport solutions UK and Ireland, said: “We’re delighted to apply our knowledge and experience in this specific industry, together with our nationwide network, to deliver a solution that meets Door-Stop’s distribution requirements both now and in the future.”
